I have a celebrity crush.
well..I have many, but I'm super in love with Ellen Page. (I think we could have a possible better-than-average friendship..aka my lover. just kidding... more like besties.
But she's just awesome, and her personality is fantastic. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish I was more like her. I think we all can think of a time in our lives when we wished we had someone else's qualities.. but then it's good to just turn that around and see yourself for who you really are. And instead of "wishing" you were like someone else, just admire them for what they have and know that you're just as unique..
I read a quote once that said "be unique, just like everyone else"
which sounds pretty pessimistic. But there really is no concept of normal, only the usual. I'm gonna bust out another quote..
"Ugliness is only a matter of being uninteresting"
I love it when I find those interesting things about people that make them beautiful. So if we're all unique, we all have those interesting niches, which means we all have a piece of that beauty.


I still wish I was more like Ellen Page.
Maybe I'll meet her one day.
She can teach me how to roller skate.
